at Susan E. Wagner High School called Service to Society. In an effort to be more connected to my community, I became an event organizer for many local organizations on Staten Island in collaboration with students from my school. In doing so, I made amazing connections and gained professional experience with social media and community posts. The role of a leader not only included sending emails to contact groups around the borough, it involved coordinating the social media and outreach efforts. I took photos, created collages, fliers, reels, and posts to engage our club members, increase student involvement, and posted in collaboration with other organizations as seen below. I’ve worked with Project Hospitality, the Westerleigh Parks Coalition, Miss Staten Island & Richmond County org, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, Love for Our Elders, the JCC, and more.
